2♥ 5 - 10 HCP 5-5 in hearts and another suit including ♠’s

Responses 2NT only forcing bid

2♠ pass or correct to minor

3♣ pass with ♠’s or raise ♣’s or correct to ♦ only

3/4 ♥’s pre-emptive

After 2NT – 3♣ , 3♦ shows that suit , 3♥ shows ♠’s , jumps show 6-5’s

Suggested Defense

Dbl takeout of ♥’s

2NT natural and other bids natural

2♠ 5 -10 HCP 5-5 in the minors

Responses 2NT asks for stiff 3♥=stiff,3♠=stiff,3nt=void somewhere

4♣=5♦,6♣ 4♦=6♦,5♣ both show 1-1 in majors.

Jump to 4 of a minor is keycard for that minor

Jump to a major is to play.

Major suit bid after 2NT inquiry is to play. ie; 2♠-2NT-3♠-♥ is to play.

Suggested defense;

Dbl=flat16-18

Pass then dbl minor is pen.

3♣=weak major suit t/o

3♦=strong major suit t/o

4♣/4♦=strong two suitor with stiff or void
