 Super Acceptances

 

PITBULLS:

 

            All Pitbulls play 4 way transfers over 1NT . A concept that comes with the territory is the “super acceptance” Kiz passed along some ideas which I will outline below . When partner bids 2 showing the 3 types of club hands the “super acceptance” is 2NT . This bid is not predicated on the overall strength of your hand but the quality of you clubs . In the old days , 1NT  3♣ was bid 3NT with a club fit . The 2 bid and super acceptance replaces that bid so your clubs should be at least high honour third .  The 1NT  2NT   super acceptance in diamonds is 3♣ and same rules apply . As a memory aid 3 accepts the transfer but does not “super accept “ it.

 

            Kiz offered a number of super acceptance ideas for just normal major suit transfers . I think these understandings are good and clarify these auctions …
